Updates & Release Notes
Published Updates
Version 3.11.0
August 14, 2026Poshmark Crosslisting, Cheaper Relists & Publish Self-Healing
New Features
- NEW: Crosslist to Poshmark. Connect your Poshmark account in Settings and publish from the same inventory you already use for eBay and Depop — one item at a time, or in bulk from the inventory grid. When something sells on one marketplace, Spadeberry takes it down from the others.
- NEW: Import your existing Poshmark closet, so items you already have listed line up with the rest of your inventory instead of arriving as duplicates.
- NEW: Photos past a marketplace's limit are packed into grid images instead of being cut off — Poshmark takes 16 and Depop 8, so a 24-photo item still shows every angle. Switch it on or off per marketplace under Inventory → Publish settings.
- NEW: Set eBay Store Categories (up to two) and the shipping policy on each listing's Edit page. A batch with mixed shipping policies can now go out in one bulk publish instead of one at a time.
- NEW: Filter the automation activity feed by action type and by marketplace, so one heavy relist day no longer buries everything else.
- NEW: One-click Promoted Listings schedule — promote from the first relist, then take another 5% off every cycle, stopping at half off. Built around your own relist cycle, and every step stays editable.
- NEW: Retry a failed delist. Items that couldn't be taken down now show an Error badge with a readable reason and a Retry button, instead of the wrong button and no way forward.
- NEW: A notice on Sales Detection when another service is relisting your eBay items behind your back, pointing you at Spadeberry's own auto-relist.
- NEW: Video uploads are included on the Basic plan ($49.99/mo) as well as Professional. Starter doesn't include them.
Improvements
- Suggested prices are now grounded in real sales rather than general knowledge. Every listing you generate is priced against what comparable items in the same category actually sold for, alongside your own past prices for near-identical items — on both standard and fast generation.
- Auto-relist now times each eBay recreate to land within 48 hours of that listing's monthly renewal, instead of at a random point in the month. On a listing that would otherwise renew and then be recreated, that's one insertion fee instead of two.
- New Poshmark listings are spaced out — about 150 a day and 50 an hour — which is what keeps a Poshmark account in good standing. Select more than that in a bulk crosslist and the extras stay in your inventory for tomorrow, with a note telling you how many were held back and roughly when the batch will finish.
- Possible Duplicates opens straight away. The comparison runs in the background now, so large stores stop timing out on it.
- Your eBay shipping policies refresh overnight, and Ready-to-Publish warns you when the copies here may be out of date — a common cause of a publish failing for no obvious reason.
- Item details that are too long for eBay are shortened at publish instead of failing the listing, and the message now makes clear it's an auto-generated field rather than the title you typed.
- A condition eBay won't accept for a category is swapped for the closest one it will — and only ever for an equal or lower grade, so a used item can't be quietly promoted to Like New.
- If the shipping policy on a listing was deleted or renamed on eBay, publishing re-syncs your policies and falls back to your default instead of erroring out. A brief hiccup fetching the policy is retried rather than failing the publish.
- The default payment, return and shipping policy you chose — and your default ship-from location — are no longer reset back to eBay's overnight.
- When a marketplace turns down an action, you see that marketplace's own reason in plain words rather than a generic error, and the app stops retrying something that was never going to work.
- If your eBay connection has fully expired you now get the reconnect banner and a reconnect email, instead of eBay features quietly doing nothing.
- Depop category matching is much more accurate. Tops filed as hats, skirts as belts, neckties as handbags, chino and jean shorts as trousers, men's swim trunks as bikini bottoms, and cardigans turned into jumpers are all corrected — and a brand in the title, or a neckline like "crew neck", no longer decides the category. When the exact type genuinely isn't clear, the item goes to that group's "Other" rather than being confidently filed wrong.
- AI condition descriptions stop calling out ordinary wrinkles and fold creases as a flaw. Genuine permanent creasing is still mentioned.
- Books published from 1900 onward go to the general Books category rather than Antiquarian & Collectible, so Book Title, Author and Language stop coming back blank.
- Typing "N/A" in the ISBN field now confirms it saved and will show on eBay as "Does Not Apply", instead of the field just going blank.
- Interrupted eBay, Depop and Poshmark imports pick up where they stopped rather than losing the remainder, and importing a large eBay store now brings everything over in a single pass.
- Listing generation is steadier on large batches — a run that hits trouble now retries with a fresh start rather than hanging, and a stuck one is picked up automatically.
- Listing status reconciles with eBay twice a day instead of once, halving how long a listing can show something stale.
- The item-condition choices offered for each eBay category are refreshed completely again.
- Token history now shows the reason attached to a support credit, labels a goodwill credit as "Token credit" rather than a refund, and reports fractional balances in full.
- Every page loads faster — the daily listing counter no longer fires an extra slow request on each page view, and the dashboard's streak and monthly chart come back in a fraction of the time.
- The inventory table header stays pinned while you scroll, marketplace names show as branded chips, and publish settings are grouped into clear Universal / eBay / Depop sections that reflow to one field per row on a phone.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed trading-card listings failing to publish after eBay changed its card-condition requirement, and restored the Card Condition field in the editor.
- Fixed the condition grade you chose reverting to a generic "Used" after a listing synced back from eBay.
- Fixed changing an item's condition from the phone app leaving it showing one grade here and a worse one to buyers on eBay.
- Fixed editing a SKU on the web saving here but never reaching eBay's custom label.
- Fixed duplicate Depop listings being created during large bulk crosslists.
- Fixed listings that published successfully to eBay being shown as Failed.
- Fixed deleting photos emptying an item that already had a generated listing, and fixed cancelling an in-progress upload removing photos that were already assigned or in use.
- Fixed uploading the same photo twice causing your live eBay listing to be ended and sent back to ready-to-publish.
- Fixed items with a special character in the SKU failing to publish.
- Fixed items sold on one marketplace staying live on another when the listing had been imported rather than posted through Spadeberry.
- Fixed a stalled delist reporting a misleading result, draining stock on a multi-quantity listing, or marking an item Withdrawn while it was still live.
- Fixed auto-relist restoring a year-old shipping or return policy onto the new listing, which could reset paid shipping to free or flip who pays return shipping. Your current Best Offer setting is kept too.
- Fixed the "adjust price on recreate" percentage doing nothing on Depop while working on eBay.
- Fixed Depop listings that came in through an import never being picked up by auto-relist.
- Fixed an old copy staying live alongside a fresh one when an automatic relist didn't fully clean up.
- Fixed promoted-listing price drops compounding on each relist instead of coming off the original price.
- Fixed publish failures showing an unrelated warning in place of the real reason.
- Fixed a one-off hiccup permanently cutting your description mid-word on every later publish and relist.
- Fixed listings coming back with the item details section empty, a suggested price of $0.00, and Country of Origin not filling in.
- Fixed a listing being marked failed and refunded while a retry behind the scenes went on to succeed.
- Fixed the Generate Listings page and the inventory list timing out on very large stores, and deleted SKUs reappearing on Generate Listings.
- Fixed undoing a subscription cancellation failing for customers on a scheduled plan.
- Fixed the reconnect prompt not appearing on marketplace errors, and fixed reconnect emails not going out when a connection expired.
- Fixed deleting an inventory location from the phone app.
- Fixed listings being wrongly marked Withdrawn when another service relists them, or when they briefly dropped out of an eBay response.
- Fixed timestamps on the automation activity feed showing in the wrong time zone.
- Fixed the sales feed reporting a green "Delisted" for items it couldn't actually confirm — it now says "Verify — may still be listed" when it isn't sure.
- Fixed listings published under one Poshmark account being managed through another after an account switch.
- Fixed a Poshmark or Depop listing failing entirely when a single photo file was missing — it now publishes with the rest.
- Fixed the Connect Depop and Connect Poshmark links opening the wrong Settings tab.
- Fixed marketplace thumbnails breaking once the matching eBay listing ended.
- Fixed the import progress page naming the wrong marketplace.
- Fixed a batch of SKUs failing entirely because one item couldn't be identified.
Version 3.10.0
July 21, 2026Automation That Finishes The Job, Insights & Listing Recovery
New Features
- NEW: Auto-Reprice for eBay. Set a percentage and a price floor, and Spadeberry walks a listing down on your schedule until it sells or hits the floor. Auctions are left alone, and a listing ages from its original publish date, so relisting it doesn't restart the clock.
- NEW: Choose which Promoted Listings campaign your ad rate applies to. If you run more than one campaign, you're no longer guessing which one Spadeberry picked.
- NEW: Narrow who gets an offer. Offers to watchers can now be filtered by price, how long the listing has been up, condition, and words in the title — so the discount goes to the items you actually want to move.
- NEW: Turn Best Offer on or off per listing.
- NEW: Your auto-accept and auto-decline prices are now sent to eBay itself, so eBay applies them the moment an offer arrives instead of waiting for Spadeberry to check.
- NEW: Re-check eBay status. Stuck or failed listings now have a button that asks eBay directly whether the item went live, and links it back up if it did — so you stop deleting items that are really still selling.
- NEW: Possible Duplicates now catches decoupled pairs — an item still live on one marketplace whose eBay listing ended and came back under a new number — and joins the two in one click.
- NEW: Out of Stock tab in Inventory, for listings that are still up on eBay with nothing left to sell. They carry an orange badge, they're excluded from Active, and you can delist them from there.
- NEW: Eight more views in Insights — margin distribution, days to sale, fee burden over time, marketplace fee rate, aging inventory and your 20 deadest items — plus a sell-through toggle (this period vs. your current inventory), a fee-rate card that breaks out marketplace fees, payment processing and ad spend in real dollars, and top-10 brand and category leaderboards.
- NEW: Every row in the automation activity feed links straight to the item's editor and to the current live listing.
- NEW: Bulk eBay photo import shows live progress while it runs, then a plain-language list of anything it skipped and why.
- NEW: Coin listings fill in the grading fields eBay requires — grader, grade and certification number — automatically.
Improvements
- Auto-relist republishes at your listing's current eBay price and the quantity eBay says is actually left, and skips anything already sold or out of stock.
- Auto-relist now works on listings you imported from eBay rather than created here, reusing the payment, return and shipping policies already on the listing.
- Auto-relist leaves a listing alone rather than ending one it can't put back up — a missing weight, condition, description or ship-from location is now a reason to skip, not a reason to go dark.
- If an auto-relist does stall partway, the item reappears in your Inventory error tab within about two hours as a one-click re-list.
- Turning auto-relist off partway through the day takes effect right away.
- Before you switch auto-relist on, Spadeberry warns you if another relisting tool may also be running on the account.
- Automation panels now tell you what they do and when they last ran. Each has an info button, a "last ran / next run" line, and a banner pointing you to Settings if you haven't connected a marketplace yet — no more switching on a panel that has nothing to work with.
- Switching a feature on with a required box empty now highlights and jumps to that box instead of failing quietly.
- Offer messages to watchers are capped at 200 characters with a warning, because eBay silently trims anything longer.
- Offer errors now tell you what to do — "refresh to see the latest state", "Depop sign-in expired — reconnect in Settings", or "eBay requires the counter price to be at least $X".
- The Offers inbox keeps your filters and sort in the page address, so a reload or a shared link reopens the same view. Expired offers show an Expired badge, buyer messages keep their line breaks, and the whole inbox is now navigable by keyboard and screen reader.
- Crosslisting to Depop now skips anything already sold or sold out on eBay, and the summary tells you how many it skipped instead of quietly dropping them.
- "List to all marketplaces" warns you before it crosslists something that's already gone, rather than risking a double sale.
- Photo uploads to eBay retry for a couple of minutes when eBay's image service hiccups, and a listing will never go live — or be relisted — with fewer photos than it had.
- Recovering an imported listing now pulls its title, description, item specifics, category, price, condition and photos from your live eBay listing, filling only what's empty and never overwriting your own work.
- Imported listings from the UK and Australia keep their package weight instead of being skipped.
- When eBay blocks a listing over a policy, the message is honest about which of the two causes it is — a temporary limit you should wait out, or a real content or brand problem retrying will never clear.
- Legitimate listings that merely mention a designer — band merch, a book or record about a brand, a mixed-brand lot, an included dust bag, an aftermarket part listed as compatible — are no longer mistaken for a brand violation.
- Category search handles multi-word searches that include the top-level category, so "stamps united states" finds what typing "stamps" alone could not.
- Insights waits for late eBay ad fees to post before locking in a sale's fees, so your profit numbers stop moving days after the sale.
- Insights and Orders prompt you to reconnect eBay when the connection has lapsed, instead of quietly showing incomplete numbers.
- Depop settings show the right currency for Canadian and Australian sellers and spell out the shipping cost used when you leave yours blank. Changing your eBay region now resets the region-specific settings instead of carrying the old ones over.
- Slightly truncated photo uploads go through instead of failing.
- The Generate Listings and Ready-to-Publish screens load noticeably faster on large accounts.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed photos going missing during large eBay inventory imports.
- Fixed edits made in Spadeberry not reaching the live eBay or Depop listing — titles, SKUs and photos changed on web or mobile now push through.
- Fixed Insights under-reporting fees for sellers who use promoted listings, so fee burden and margin now reflect what you actually paid.
- Fixed Insights counting a crosslisted item twice in Units Listed, which was dragging your sell-through rate down.
- Fixed days showing as flat $0 on the Insights chart when the sale price hadn't been recorded.
- Fixed orders where a cancellation was requested but denied showing as cancelled in your profit and loss.
- Fixed sales on listings that are still running being missed entirely.
- Fixed auto-relist collapsing a multi-quantity listing down to a single unit, and restored the true remaining quantity on listings that had already been collapsed.
- Fixed offers to watchers not going out, and fixed the minimum-watchers setting being ignored.
- Fixed an offer that auto-responded not being recorded, so your history now matches what happened on the marketplace.
- Fixed push notifications reaching only the first device on an account, showing the wrong currency for sellers outside the US, and taking too long to drop a phone that had uninstalled the app.
- Fixed the Reviewed toggle on the Review page not saving.
- Fixed items sent back to Generate staying stuck in the Withdrawn tab instead of returning to Unlisted.
- Fixed renaming a listing from Possible Duplicates saving the new title here but never sending it to eBay.
- Fixed merging a duplicate pair leaving the item with a prefixed SKU instead of your clean original.
- Fixed your item title repeating inside the Depop description.
- Fixed your Depop shipping cost falling back to Depop's default instead of matching the flat rate you charge on eBay.
- Fixed duplicate listings appearing after an item sold and was relisted.
- Fixed a publish-error banner staying on screen after you'd already fixed and saved the listing.
- Fixed bulk eBay photo import creating no drafts, and a confusing error when a barcode or a pasted eBay link was entered as a SKU.
- Fixed multi-quantity listings being ended as sold when only part of the quantity had sold.
- Fixed a false "photos failed" count after an eBay import.
- Fixed your eBay store categories being cleared when eBay returned an incomplete response.
- Fixed Depop publishing failing when an item's brand had no match — it now falls back to "Other".
- Fixed the affiliate earnings chart and conversion funnel not opening in the mobile app.
- Fixed a promoted-listings escalation getting permanently stuck on your oldest items, starving everything newer.
- Fixed one Depop listing hitting a problem stopping the rest of an auto-relist run.
- Fixed rapid double-clicks on bulk accept and bulk decline firing twice.
Version 3.9.0
June 26, 2026Gender Swap, Smarter Depop & Reliability Pass
New Features
- NEW: Swap Gender — on any clothing or shoes listing, a new button on the edit screen swaps the category, title, and department between men's and women's in one click. When the matching category is ambiguous, you're prompted to pick it manually.
- NEW: Set a default Depop shipping cost in Settings → Marketplaces. Leave it blank and we'll match your eBay flat-rate shipping automatically — no more fixing each crosslisted item by hand.
- NEW: The Generate Listings screen now advances to Review automatically when your items finish generating.
- NEW: eBay store categories now carry through to your published listings.
- NEW: Product identifier fields (EAN, UPC, ISBN) now appear correctly for eBay UK, Canada, and Australia — previously these fields only showed for US sellers.
Improvements
- Listings now show a policy flag before you publish if the description contains words that may trigger an eBay review. You can publish anyway — eBay stays the authority — but the heads-up saves a failed attempt.
- When a listing is rejected for a fixable reason (like a non-compliant Parts & Accessories return policy), Spadeberry now attempts to auto-correct and re-publish before surfacing an error.
- Description templates no longer have a hard character cap — your full descriptions now come through without silent truncation.
- If you have templates set up but no default selected, a prompt on the Review screen now guides you through picking one.
- Vinyl records, DVDs, and CDs without a barcode now publish cleanly as 'Does Not Apply' — the Ready-to-Publish screen now says so clearly instead of showing a warning that looked like a block.
- Multi-quantity eBay listings (items with more than one in stock) no longer get marked sold after the first unit sells.
- The Ready-to-Publish screen and photo grid load faster under heavy batch loads.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed blank photo thumbnails on the SKU-assignment screen after uploading — photos now appear without requiring a logout or page refresh (web and mobile).
- Fixed Depop cropping tall portrait photos — items like maxi dresses and jumpsuits now upload padded to a square frame.
- Fixed serial numbers being stripped from non-electronics listings — watches, cameras, and collectibles now keep their serials in descriptions.
- Fixed Save & Push silently failing for relisted eBay listings.
- Fixed listings getting stuck in Processing after a successful eBay publish.
- Fixed the wrong condition being applied to some listings (for example, an apparel-grading label appearing on a book).
- Fixed an identifier field (ISBN or UPC) blocking saves on listings that don't require one.
- Fixed multi-user: switching operators on one device no longer changed the selection on other devices.
- Fixed description template prompts re-appearing on every new browser tab instead of only the first time.
Version 3.8.0
June 09, 2026eBay Photo & Video Import + Reliability
New Features
- NEW: Import photos straight from an eBay listing — paste an item ID or URL (yours, another seller's, or an ended listing) and Spadeberry pulls the photos in and assigns them to a SKU, ready to generate. Works one at a time or in bulk.
- NEW: Add a video to your listings — attach one video per SKU and it carries through to your eBay listing. (Available on the Professional plan and up; MP4 or MOV up to 150MB.)
Improvements
- Your AI listings now follow your own style more closely — generation learns from more of your recent published listings and leans on your wording, ordering, and formatting instead of generic defaults.
- The description box on the edit-listing screen now grows as you type, with a toolbar that stays in view as you scroll.
- Added a "Choose Photos" button and Mac / Apple Photos guidance on the upload screen.
- Depop listings now use the right currency and shipping for your marketplace region.
- When an item ends on eBay but you've already relisted it, Spadeberry now flags it for your review instead of removing it from your other marketplaces.
- Sending a published listing back for edits now automatically takes it off eBay first.
- The ready-to-publish screen now pages through large batches so it stays fast.
- Improved watch listing titles — "Vintage" placement and case size in millimeters now read in the right order.
- Pages load faster and hold up under heavy load, with clearer error pages on the rare occasion something does go wrong.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a Depop bug where your items could show the wrong condition — for example, showing as "Good" when the item was actually in better shape.
- Fixed a Depop bug where editing a listing could reset its package size.
- Fixed an Economy Mode bug where generation could fail with a "No valid SKUs found" error.
- Fixed a bug on the edit-listing screen where your changes sometimes wouldn't save.
- Fixed an inventory bug that could oversell an item when re-listing it.
- Fixed a pricing bug where very low-priced items could round down to $0.
- Fixed a sync error that could come up while importing your eBay inventory.
- Fixed a mobile photo-upload bug where photos could be dropped if a batch was still finishing uploading.
- Fixed a bug where the template editor opened blank for templates that contained tables.
Version 3.7.0
May 27, 2026Crosslisting & Depop
New Features
- NEW: Crosslist to Depop — connect your Depop account and publish your listings to eBay and Depop together, all managed from one inventory.
- NEW: Import your existing eBay inventory into Spadeberry, with a Possible Duplicates page that flags likely duplicate listings and lets you rename them inline.
- NEW: Insights — track your sales and profit & loss across eBay and Depop in one place.
Improvements
- The inventory grid now shows real-time publish progress for both eBay and Depop, and you can shift-click to select multiple listings at once.
- eBay and historical imports are more reliable and now pick up where they left off if they're interrupted.
- When an item sells on one marketplace, Spadeberry now detects it and updates or ends the matching listings on your other marketplaces.
- Imported eBay listings now keep their original eBay publish date, so your dashboard and reports reflect when they were actually listed instead of the day you imported them.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where syncing from eBay could create stray "EB-" prefixed SKUs and suggest one as your next SKU number.
- Fixed a crosslisting-template bug that could shorten or drop your description when publishing.
- Fixed a bug that could block publishing from the Review screen.
- Fixed a glitch where extra "phantom" listings could briefly appear on the Generate Listings screen.
- Fixed an Economy Mode category-matching bug that affected Books.
Version 3.6.0
May 22, 2026Custom Item-Specifics, SKU Notes & Global Timezones
New Features
- NEW: Add your own item-specifics — beyond the standard ones eBay provides for each category, you can now add custom fields and values from the edit-listing screen. They're sent to eBay alongside the standard ones, and shown in their own section in the ready-to-publish preview.
- NEW: SKU notes — attach an optional batch label or note to any SKU. Notes show up on the SKU assignment, ready-to-publish, and edit-listing screens. A setting in account preferences controls whether the note also gets included in the SKU sent to eBay on publish.
Improvements
- Non-US timezones now work correctly — London, Toronto, Sydney, and 37 other zones are available in scheduling dropdowns. Previously, choosing a non-US timezone could silently fall back to New York.
- When eBay rejects a listing because the photos are too large, Spadeberry now automatically resizes them and retries — no action needed from you.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a bug where oversized photos were silently dropped from eBay listings during publish.
- Fixed a bug where simultaneous edits to the same listing could trigger duplicate token refunds.
- Fixed the photo crop tool's bottom edge not responding to mouse drags.
Version 3.5.0
May 17, 2026Photo Editor Refresh + Reliability Pass
New Features
- NEW: Click a photo to view it large with scroll-wheel zoom (1x–8x) instead of jumping straight into the editor. The editor is now its own separate button for when you actually want to crop or adjust.
Improvements
- Photo editor refreshed — tighter layout, new reseller-friendly filters, and sharper focus on close-up details like clothing tags.
- When eBay's servers are having issues, you can still edit your listings — and you'll see a clear explanation instead of a cryptic error message.
- Pages load faster across the app.
- Photos that take a while to finish processing now get automatically rescued for up to 48 hours, instead of getting stuck.
- Cleaner edit-listing screen — the Active Comps and Is Auction sections are now collapsed by default.
- If you need to manage your subscription from your phone, we'll now email you a direct link to the billing page.
Bug Fixes
- The edit-listing page no longer jumps around while pricing comparisons load in.
- Fixed a bug on mobile where some photos got stuck in 'pending' state after upload.
- Fixed a bug that could occasionally lose photos during upload. Your photo counts now match what's actually attached to each listing.
- Fixed a publishing-error bug that could mask the real reason a listing failed.
- iPhone photos (HEIC format) now upload reliably everywhere — web, mobile, and the contact form.
- Very long descriptions no longer time out during AI compression.
- Fixed broken image placeholders in descriptions — they now show readable text instead of broken-image icons.
- Fixed a calculated-shipping bug where a mismatched shipping country could quietly produce wrong rates. You'll now get a clear error instead.
- Fixed a bug where paid subscribers could sometimes receive duplicate free-trial tokens.
- Fixed a publishing error that could appear on certain listings.
